Fact Correction: Too Much Radiation WILL CAUSE CANCER. (Not, as stated in the article, "can" cause cancer.)
Radiation accumulates, never leaving the body. Cancer from radiation does not develop immediately, but over time.
All radiation service providers succumb to varying levels of greed and self-interest in the name of business profits.
A red flag is that physicians and technicians never inquire about, nor take into consideration a patient's previous history of radiation exposure when prescribing or administering radiation. The technicians providing the service become jaded by their routine and do not take all necessary precautions in protecting the patient’s health or best interest.
Remember all of the TSA promises that the radiation levels in the airport body scan equipment are "safe"? Don’t forget that those are the same people that promised that airport body scan images would be automatically deleted seconds after the scan. Now, countless “nude images” of named victims are exposed on YouTube and other public websites around the world. The TSA body scan operators are under qualified, under educated, low wage workers who are missing weapons on passengers, but confiscating nail clippers and zapping you with radiation.
At the bare minimum, our medical radiation exposure history needs to be tracked in order to make informed decisions about further exposure. Our daily radiation exposure increases exponentially as technology advances for broadcast and transmission towers, TVs, computers, cell phones, highly unregulated airport scanners and the unqualified operators.
so.... opt for the pat down? ;)
