It looks like the cholera epidemic did start with the UN troops. The UN ought to be sure their troops have their shots and are disease free before they send the troops into a vulnerable population who are already under stress.

Now some are even blaming and killing others within their own culture for calling on spirits whom they believe cursed them with cholera.
