Well, looks like physician's are getting a pay freeze along with all of the government workers. Too bad my business rent/utility bills/ staff salaries/benefits and malpractice insurance costs are not "freezing" anytime soon. At least my Medicare patients can count on me keeping my office open for one more year.

People who can not get a Northern Doctor to accept Medicare payments simply goes to the emergency room and gets treated. This cloggs up the emergency rooms.

I talked to a lady this week who lives in New Jersey who told me she waits untill she gets to Florida during the winter to go to the Doctor because the Florida Doctors accept Medicare.  Isn't that sad?  Don't get sick during the summer wait untill the winter because medicare insurance will pay for the service in Florida.

I have posted this already here before You guys should stop complaining because, one the health care we have now isnt as good as it was supposed to be. also the law has just been signed so give it some time. so if u want to say u have the right to choose tell that to ur congress men or state official. Only 1 physician on the thread complaining about their 200k plus salaries being frozen while they extort the payers through hospitals to increase their premiums..oh, the horror. maybe we should open up the medical schools so you have some real competition instead of your whinning. For the novices, the payers only have a few hospitals in town, and if they don't pay em, their network is lost. Its gravy baby!

Doctors don't really see patients any longer. They hire a physician's assistant to run the office and treat people. Where are the doctors? It happend to me yesterday. I made an app't to see a doctor but when I got there he wasn't there. That is beginning to be the norm.

Also, doctor fees are over the top. I was told it would be over $300 for a pap smear. (Sorry guys) Why so much?

Good, now let's focus on fraud perpetrated by the American Medical Community as a whole and other crooks. Perhaps legislation treating fraud against Medicare and other programs supported by the public should include penalties on the level of a homicide. Oh wait, the Medical community and other crooks probably have a huge lobby paying for Congress to tokenize penalties for this bype of fraud.

Let's focus on the fraud being commited by congress by hiding the truth so the figures look better. Hmmm, Democrats controlled the money for over 8 yrs, so who is lying to the American People I ask?
