The recent developmments are a dream come truce for those of us with SCI and in wheel chairs.   If we can "walk" just 30 minutes a day it changes everything.   All your organs seem bunched together when you sit all the time.   Being upright and moving you hips & legs seems to make things work better.  I ride a horse in a handicap riding program at Eagle Mount in Bozeman, Montana.   After just a few minutes I start to feel better.....and continue to do so for 2 or 3 days.   I have put my name on the list to try a ReWalk when they are available this year.   Good Luck BIG guy.

Great!!! How are the hundreds of thousands of individuals that this could help going to be able to get these "bionic" legs? Will Medicare cover them? What about private insurers? My insurer only covers $5K/year. I would love to see a reasonable solution before i die, I'm 45 and the stem cell stuff has been talked about since I was hurt 27 years ago. Just sayin'.
