There's an obvious reason obese people have lower fertility: they're less attractive. There are a few women who can look good in plus-sizes, but they are the exception rather than the rule.
To clarify, I do not like anorexia and frai little "Damsels in distress" irritate me. A little meat on the bones is good, but what we've got going on in this country is ridiculous.
The fact that obese women are less fertile is not a result of their attractiveness. It is because obesity places stress on all the body's systems, including the reproductive system. Being obese is not healthy. The more healthy a person is, the more likely their reproductive system is to be functioning normally. Many obese women with fertility issues, especially those under thirty five, would see resolution of their symptoms simply by using exercise and diet to get to a normal BMI.
Natural selection (Darwinism) is not a myth. Healthy, attractive, successful, intelligent and talented individuals of a given species (in this case humans) are given the "right" to pass on their genetic code to the next generation for the good of that species as a whole. Nature wants change and provides an endless variety of genetic and individual differences within a species, but the strong and desirable traits are meant to passed on to the next generation. As a species, humans are different, as their collective intellect makes is possible to interfere in this process. Why eat healthy and exercise if I can get liposuction or in this case take a pill? Why study hard if I can cheat? Why not express my inner beauty and intellect if I can get plastic surgery? Humans are infinity creative in circumnavigating natural selection. The big question is if we don't do the right things to be healthy... where are we going genetically as a species?

yes-that's what we need-fertility drugs creating pregnancies for over taxed bodies already in trouble!
