These humble, gracious men, and their team, continue to downplay the role they have played. Everyone calls it a miracle, but seem to overlook who were the miraclemakers. It is the surgeons, and the skill and quality of their training, that has created this "miracle." Nuerosurgery at any level is extremely complex, and this type of injury required the masters of mastery. It was no little thing, it wasn't as easy as they are making it look, and it will never, ever be as simple as learning to play footbal, act in a movie, or shoot a moose. People such as these have real talents, and the skill and training it takes to make these kinds of heroes are truly exceptional.

I am so thankful that we have these kind of dedicated people in our medical professions. May God bless both of them and their families immensely and give them the rest they need. Thank you and we are so glad to have you in our country!

Are the MSM going to pick up on the neuro doc's comment re G Giffords milestones, "Now let's shoot for the next one,'" Did he say 'shoot for..." Nooooo -- say it's not so!!!

Yes, that is totally ridiculous to point out, that's my point! As others have pointed out statements that they know aren't intended to mean violence. Get it?? Let's stop the 'gotcha!' hunt!!!

Doesn't it just blow your mind that a guy like Albert Haynesworth can sign a $100 million dollar contract for playing football, then not showing up to play, while these guys make a fraction of that?

Humble?  Maybe one of them. 

But who cares, really, when you need one of them?

The Lord God Almighty has every breath of every person in His hands. He is the Miracle Worker and the only one capable of keeping her alive. God will not share His Glory with anyone and it's not wise to boast in ourselves when our lives are but a vapor.

I saw Wolf Blitzer interviewing Dr. Rhee today on CNN.

Wolf: "Some people are calling this a miracle. Would you like to comment on that?"

Dr. Rhee: "No."

Wolf: "Ok. You don't have to."

Ha! I loved that. I have to believe that Dr. Rhee is a science based rationalist who doesn't believe in fairy tales or miracles. Good for him!

Change your headline...it seems to me to be in very bad taste.

OK, yes, I admit I find Dr Ghee quite handsome, but I thought it was pretty hilarious today when he said, "Today is the last day we'll be having these press conferences. We didn't get picked up for next season." haha ;)

I'm glad he is able to keep a sense of humor with all the violence he sees.

I would think the writer of the article meant the doctors are charismatic, intelligent, personable, talented, good looking, funny,appealing, people look up to them and just overall do well at what they do.

Listen Up.... They chose the Headline because they Can... I don't look at Doctors as Rock Stars... I look at them as human beings... They are just like all of us, But they have better jobs then most do... They Do see more tragic things then the average person... But they still put their pants on the same way as everybody else...

I give them Great ATA Boys for there down to earth nature... and a THUMBS Up for the dedication to do this work.... and I guess my biggest point is... The Hospital does not RUN without the Janitors, Nor the Nutritionists... The Administrators, nor the Radiologists....

So think of all the people who run this hospital the next time you see the Doctors, I know they feel the same way... Nurses, and Janitors alike... Great Job Hospital!!!!

Must religion always is the bottom line. If it is, why take the lives of good people. life is hit and miss. Like being hit by a out of control car, and your friend doesn't have a scratch; These Doctors have been trained well, to do their best even if it was the bad guy. God has no say in the story. Pray all you want if it makes you feel better. The kid is dead. Horrible happening, parents will never see their daughter. My heart cries out for them, I am not religious I lost two three children; Sadness its always sitting on my head.This child is a( non replacement in this life.) We live with what we get. Some good some bad. Doctors patients will get better with good care, medicine and personal healing. If anyone sees Jesus let me know; I 'd like to meet him. Strong people fight to live. Time heals some wounds. The media on the other hand, is hog wash. They do not have the facts, and are making a stupid story with interviews up the ying yang for publicity, Nothing good left to say, There should be laws and penalties for misleading information. Shame on the media. Shame on the church that wanted to picket the funeral. Same on the people who could stop this lunacy but don't. Bravo for good doctors. If all the Doctors gave of themselves like these guys and gals did, the medical profession would receive the highest of honors/.No the football players.

I meant my first post to be one of praise and gratitude, and not one that would provoke a religious debate or anger among us. But, I guess I would now like to pose a possible solution to the paradigm: God couldn't be everywhere, so he created DOCTORS.

People use the term rockstar too much.

Your chance of becoming a rockstar is like 1 to a billion. They are the chosen few and they mean more to most people than anyone else in history.

and quit calling your daughter a princess, she or you are so not royalty.

Being a real person is better than pretending to be something you will never be.
