I for one will be praying fervently for Jobs healing. I actually have been treated for Malignant Melanoma for five years and know what a toll it takes on a person. So, God Bless you Mr Jobs, and I invite all of you who read this article to pray along with us. I know first hand that "Prayer changes things" and it is the most important thing we all can do for this man. I look forward to hearing a good outcome in a few months. Be happy and truly have faith in God. He will never disappoint you!
I don't wish cancer on anyone . It sucks. And I do wish him well. I am curious though about the liver transplant. I thought that unless your cancer was primary liver and not mets from another site, they would not consider you for transplant, the theory being, in time the cancer would spread to the new liver as well.
Hearing about the possibility of a liver transplant for him is raising my eyebrows a bit with many questions. I have been fighting PC also-adenocarcinoma, since feeling pain in 11/09, being diagnosed 2/10, and surgery 3/10. I have been doing radiation and chemo since to kill cells that might be in my blood and to fight spots in the middle of the right lobe of my liver. The spots are very small and growth has stopped but now that we're pretty sure there is none floating in my blood and no spots popping up elsewhere I was just discussing with doctors last week about what we are going to do avout my liver. They frown on removing the right lobe at Moffitt and don't even want to remove part of the lobe. Now I see this article about transplant and wonder why they refuse taking the right lobe when transplant could be looked at as a future option if something was to show up on the left lobe. I guess I have more questioning for my doctors now.
Good luck, Steve Jobs. It sounds like you're going to have quite a roller coaster ride coming again. At least his has a better survival rate than adenocarcinoma. I,ve already lost 2 blood relatives to adenocarcinoma in the last 7 years. Yes, it's hereditary.
Well, I don't know much about Mr. Jobs other than he is responsible for making sure Pixar, whose movies I love so much has become what it is today, and the Mac laptop my daughter loves so much was created, and the iphone my son loves so much was created.
I know there are many people who DO know Mr. Jobs and love him and I truly hope he beats this once again so his family and friends can keep him around much longer.
I had a Liver Transplnat 10 years ago, and from what I have learned regarding complications from, it is unlikely his complications are resulting directly from transplant. Liver Transplant complications usually can be managed or they are so unpredictable that statements of any long term abscense are hard to make. I fear for Mr Jobs . I have a feeling it may be cancer related.
When you consider what he has been through since 04 and what Apple has done since , he's been nothing short of remarkable

Like anybody suffering some illness, I'll pray for them. I wish him the best.

Get well Mr. Jobs.
Apple stock is plunging?
The stock was up nearly $3 today and down 6 cents after hours trading.
Do unpaid interns write this stuff?
They should have updated the article. The stock initially took a hit but recovered.
