Bigger spoons cause obesity.
Well if both parents were not forced to work full time jobs and overtime to make ends meet then a parent could prepare home cooked meals. Until that happens, McDonalds will be the chef of choice as it is quick, inexpensive and so accessible to parents.
I work full time. Every night I eat meat and potatoes, veggies, bread and milk. Throw a couple pork chops and a baked potato in the oven. Frozen veggies in the microwave. Meat and spud bake while I walk the dog, take a shower, whatever. Takes no more time than sitting in the fast food lane. It's just a matter of are you concerned for the health and well being of your child or not.
As if being tired is an excuse. Good food is a passion. If you learn how to enjoy cooking, then it's not so exhausting a chore.
The kids don't do the shopping. The kids don't go through the fast food drive-up on their way home from work. It's the parents. They know the risks, have seen the studies. It is pretty well a lost cause.
Have you ever heard of a place called "123 Get Samples" on the web, they give out a free samples of major brands to promote their products. I just got mine.
