It's a start, but what I'd like to see is a bill to legalize recreational marijuana. I want to use pot the same way I use beer - to have a good time with my friends. I don't feel like the gov't is doing me a service by "protecting me" from that.
I think that's a great endgame, but consider this: Marijuana is so controversial due to all the government-produced misinformation about it that somehow we've convinced a lot of people that even 80 year old cancer patients shouldn't have access to it... that Vicodin is somehow a safer and less addictive painkiller...
If people believe that, recreational legalization is a long way off. I'd say getting medical legalization is the proper beginning as it will finally blow the cover off of the propaganda, as people will begin to see that grandma won't go on a killing spree after a THC tincture. Once the critics see that firsthand, recreational legalization is suddenly more palatable.
Big Pharms and other manufacturing dont want this to happen because of all the profits they would lose. What? Give the people the ability to take care of themselves...*gasp*. Just like big pharm want a big chunk of the health food industry and stop the sales of food suppliments, herbs and vitamins. Plus all the other side products like soaps, oils, cosmetics, paper and clothing. Gosh, this could take our reliance off oil companies....Oh say it aint so..... And believe me it is less expensive for those herbal remedies than the stupid meds the doc perscribes, then has to perscribe yet another med to counter the side effects of the first. Seriously? I found my blood pressure meds cause diabetes....I consumed more olive oil in my diet and Im off the meds and saving a bundle....take that big pharm!
My friends grandfather was dying of cancer some years back. He could not hold anything down and was in real bad shape. The doctor never actually said get him some pot but he hinted around it. So we did. And his grandfather, a career military man who raised a beautiful, successful, smart, hard working family smoked the pot and actually got a few meals in, and held down, before he died. RIP Pop, you would be proud of your family.
Yes, it's big pharma. Legalized marijuana would eliminate the need for so many other, artificial, synthetic drugs, and big pharma would be out of so much money. Every sensible person knows marijuana needs to be legalized and we know why. Too much money is involved.
Actually, it's not "Big Pharma" but a lack of enforcement in general. How are you gonna quantify stoned drivers? People that are high (myself included) think and say, "I drive better when I'm a little irie," but they are dead wrong, and they kill people.
You can't legalize something that you can't "enforce" and part of that enforcement is being able to ensure safety (driving, machinery, surgery, etc).
It actually happens quite frequently with articles of various types on various subjects, depending on the article's content, and not because of any agenda.
Marijuana is a hotbed issue, hence it appears in the "Explore" section at the top of the page. It's also a political issue as it's something that's popping up in many states and typically has to be voted on in some way. Lastly, Montel Williams is a former talk show host who has been outspoken about his fight with MS, so it makes perfect sense for it to also appear in the "Entertainment" section of MSN's page.
Are you feeling a little less pressured by this imaginary agenda now?
OMG!! They've now added it to the "Health" section of MSN!!
Will they ever stop trying to make us smoke pot? Damn you, MSN!!! Where will you be trying to force it on us next? The "World" section because people smoke it elsewhere in the world?? Please, make it stop!!!!!!!!
I hope you're just feeling sillier and sillier, Steven B, if you have the guts and stayed on to read others' posts here.
I give him strong praise, but we NEED to have total legalization. The real opponent is the booze industry who doesn't want the competition. Also, the cancer industry and in general the medical industry would find a huge dent in big pharma profits. People need to demand complete legalization. Now.
I agree with that because of first-hand reasons. I am 67 and have severe osteoarthritis. I have had one knee replacement and will probably have another before the end of the year. There is also the probability of a hip and shoulder replacements somewhere down the line.
My arthritis causes me a huge amount of pain, especially on cold rainy days such as today. And I cannot get much relief because I have a pseudo-allergy to all opiates. That means that drugs like morphine bind to mast cells instead of to the opiate receptors in the brain. This means that I get no pain relief and instead get a histamine release and allergy symptoms.
I have cobbled together what I can do for pain so that I can stay active. I use heat a lot and a TENS unit when I can and NSAIDs daily, but heat and TENS are not always an option (such as in a movie theater.) And NSAIDs can cause GI problems when taken over a long period as I am doing.
The symptoms of the allergy cause me the most problems in that I can not take painkillers after about noon or I cannot sleep at night and itch like my skin is coming off. When I do not get a good night's sleep, it reduces my coping ability the next day.
So what I so is take about 2-3 hits of weed from a vaporizer just before bedtime. This gives me considerable pain relief and I am able to get to sleep. Once I am asleep I can usually stay asleep pretty well.
I see nothing wrong with what I am doing. You can buy synthetic variants of THC on Amazon and have it delivered to your house by mail. They are legal and almost as effective as THC for those who might think that I am some sort of stoner scofflaw. And unlike opiates, there is zero risk of physical addiction with marijuana.
I favor legalization immediately for legitimate medical purposes and also favor legalization for recreational use as well. I favor legalizing recreational use because otherwise it is too easy for law enforcement to blur the line between medicinal and recreational use and go after easy target such as people with MS.
You go, Chris. I am glad you have found something that works for you. You sound like you would be fun to hang out with, not because you "hit the bong" but because of your open mind.
i'm going to go out on a limb and guess that this is a white person mocking mr. williams by using some silly stereotype. effing inbreeders!
while i agree he is not the best spokesman for this cause, i do agree with him. i wouldn't go so far as to say pot is better or safer than alcohol. but the gov't should not be making these decisions for us.
hodaka1974, even my 14-yr-old and her friends would find your humor infantile and ridiculously offensive. Do you also still walk up and pull a girl's hair to let her know you "like like" her? Moron.
Grow up, this is not the Romper Room board. Go hang on the NickKids site or something.
I've heard of it, but it's a different time now, and I stand by my original thoughts regarding your first post.
I have never, do not now, or ever plan to have my head in a "balloon knot" either.
You're also apparently not truly clear of what a hypocrite is, but I'm quite aware of what an immature jackwagon looks like, and I'm getting a good look on this particular part of the thread, present company fully included.
jackwagon....... Well if my name was $.50 or einem or any rap/hip-hop ding-bat, then all good....
Next, "hypocrite" look the word up..... I use a cartoon caricaturization to poke fun at montel, you call it "offencive". 1st, do you even know if I am black or white? no you don't.
So before you "assume" something to be "offencive" better make sure you are not offending someone at the same time...
You more than likely think I made that post with some sort of "racist" implication, is why you used the word offencive...
Try to just enjoy life and not read between the lines looking for hidden motives that do not exist...................................
Someone doesn't have to be a certain color to make them an offensive idiot.
I am also not a fan of "gangster rap" and find that people who were formally actual drug dealers and thugs who get famous because they know how to rhyme almost anything with "gin and juice" and nasty and quite often misogynistic words and make millions of dollars that they waste on useless sh*t are people I feel no need to support in any way.
And I call it "offensive" not "offencive", you mis-spelling troglodyte. I never said anything in my comments that I thought you were being racially motivated at all so it's you who has ASSumed something.
I fully know what the word hypocrite means, and probably a lot better than you do.
I also don't give a flying fig if I have offended you in any way.
I have no idea where in the world you went with the whole anyone looking for any kind of motive.
Moving on.......next contestant please.........make sure this one has at least some brains and sense about them, PLEASE.
Again, I don't need to look it up, and I'm so, so sorry I bruised your obviously fragile, delicate little ego by calling out that your posts are not only ridiculously stupid but you also try to make points with mis-spellings which is just embarrassing when we all have access to the "spellchecker" button at the top of the posting box.
I'm not a hypocrite because I don't give a flying fig if I offended you and I expressed that I felt you were offensive in your posting. It just means I'm intelligent and don't take to ridiculous, infantile bullsh*t very well, as you obviously seem to.
I don't need to pat myself on the back - but hey, if you're into that, don't let me stop you. You seem to adore your own words and thoughts so much, it's obvious you're all very happy together. Congratulations.
"yo-self" You are just the preciousest, aren't you, little one.
Hi! Still waiting for brains and sense to appear!
You also seem to missing that I'm not the only "hypocrite" here (seriously, YOU really need to look that up) as it was the whole community who collapsed YOUR post.
use the bold key make sure everyone will see........... keep making up things as you go.
I'm sure you run through life with the "all about me" blinders on, then when someone ruffles your feathers you get up in arms like you are now.
I could care less about a "collapsed post"...... please keep waiting for the brains and sense to appear! hypocrite.... hard to except isn't, usually is for your type, but denial is the 1st step.
You're so adorable, trying to act all mature, intelligent and adult now.
Here's a lil' blankie; go take yourself a nice little nappy-poo, have a juice box and a cookie, and come back when you're an actual adult who can converse with other adults in a non-embarrassing to yourself fashion.
Have a nice day, cupcake!
This is me, still not being a hypocrite but obviously ruffling some poor little ignoramus's feathers and getting him's little panties in a wad.
"who is the real fool, the jester, or the one laughing"
When pointing a finger at someone you always have 3 pointing back at you. And I'm sure you feel your far superior intellect is what keeps you coming back for more.
Do you happen to have a vein popping out somewhere in your head or neck?
I just have to thank you, because this has been super fun, and thanks to your sad little attempts to actually challenge me, I shouldn't ever need to take any kind of anti-depressant. Any time I feel down, I'll just think back to you and your utter ignorance and futility in trying to match wits with someone WAAAAAAY out of your league, and I just know it will be able to pull me out of the worst of funks. Infantile behavior and statements can be an excellent source for one's daily amusement needs.
So, so, SO funny. Seriously, thanks. I really needed this as it's been a rough week, but it just doesn't seem quite so bad now.
Maybe someday you'll post something meaningful that people may actually want to read instead of collapsing it for its utter stupidity.
Bold and now caps!!!!!! the louder you yell the more you show you lack of intelligence....... Nice to see a claim collected individual like you can have a discussion with out name calling, yelling, and being a hypocrite...
All this nonsense over a cartoon caricaturization to poke fun and that moron montel.. You must have a huge red spot on your back from all that patting......
Maybe in your next well thought out blast you can use the bold & caps key at the same time, you know really show me how smart & tuff you iz...
legalize marijuana and lose that avenue of control along with the budgetary windfall? the government will never cave on this one without a wise public voting for the legality of it. so they'll keep us ignorant and scared. yep.
The biggest problem is there is no test. Drunk driving give a blow and the police know just how drunk you are...pot has no such test. Until someone can come up with a test that can be given car side, its not going to be legal. That is the problem. I have suffered from cronic pain for over thirty years, and nothing works like Gods weed. I do not condone it for all, but for myself it has allowed me to stay active and enjoy a quality of life I would not have otherwise. I tried the "legal " avenue, hated walking around in a fog all day. Some cronic always does the trick.
Good Lord yes - maybe politics would lighten up a bit!
Seriously, though, the thought of thousands of young lives being ruined over something as harmless as marijuana seems completely stupid when one can legally use a much more dangerous drug like alcohol. Medical uses aside, here is a perfectly good source of tax revenue AND spending cuts by eliminating the cost of incarceration for hypocritical prosecution of a minor vice. How many violent assaults have you ever heard of by a marijuana-crazed perpetrator? Let's use our jails for those who are real threats!
i agree, however although i think they could generate SOME taxes i dont think it would be the windfall that most people think for the government.
I like most people i know would simply grow our own if it were legal,,i think it would end up in a sharing frenzy,,,,i would trade you an ounce of what i grew for an ounce of what you grew and so on and so on...lol
but i think you are right on with the incarceration part.
the problem i have whenever people start talking about legalizing pot is that most of the time they dont say pot,,they say drugs.
coke, meth, herion, crack, ice,,these drugs should be heavely inforced with extream penalities,,because they and others like them can simply destroy a country. when someone runs out of pot its no big deal but with the others i mentioned the addicted will simply rob and kill people to get more.
not to mention if everyone could legaly grow or buy their pot it would be one less thing to make the cartels rich, because noone would buy their pot...lol
i disagree, you can grow your own tobacco legally, who does? the government windfall would come from the masses of lazy Americans (i'm not pointing fingers, i'm a happy one of you) who prefer to spend more for convenience than actually do any work, even for a superior product. If the pharmaceutical companies were smart, they would be buying up the rights to strains, and pushing for legalization, so that those who wanted to grow had to buy from their seed banks, and those that don't would have to buy directly for them. no one's going to go pick ditch weed, if they can buy a bag of Alaskan Thunderf*** for twenty bucks.
Actually Michelle.... i've been hearing rumors that the cigarette companies have already started trademarking strain names. Not sure if that's a fact.... but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
For me growing is a hobby that has turned into a pretty profitable business. And i think you're right on the money as far as the big corps. trying to stay on top. I'm glad I got into it when i did, because the train is pulling away from the station as we speak.
michelle,,,well that may be true if i were able to collect a seed or 2 from a pack of smokes,,and also pot is a WEED it will pretty much grow anywhere all on its own.
not sure about tobacco,,,guess im going to have to research where to buy tobacco seeds and how to grow it.
yes, it can grow anywhere, but that doesn't mean it's going to be the quality of smokable that people want. i've done my fair share of growing. if you want high quality, you don't get your pot from the side of the road.
I live in Maryland but still can't get marijuana for a very difficult condition even though it is a medical marijuana state. The hoops that docs have to jump through to prescribe it are riduclous, making it almost impossible for the people who need it to get it.
I have failed all the possible drug treatments I can take for my condition, gastroparesis, or a paralysed stomach. It causes constant pain and nausea that gets worse when I try and eat. I am waiting for placement of a device next week that will hopefully help, but even that is only about 50%.
Just for one day, I would love for not only the docs who sometimes refuse to prescribe it, but the lawmakers who refuse to approve to pass the laws that make it possible for us to get it, to live with the conditions that are made better by marijuana.
To Montel and the many others who suffer from chronic pain. I sincerely hope you are able to get the required help for your pain management. I have recently been prescribed lyrica to help lessen the severity of my migraines. I am a 61 years old hold a mathematics degree and have a successful career and family. I have been prescribed many drugs on a carefully administered basis but lyrica appears to be the one that has worked the best...so far. I have only tried marijuana once, and I had a severe migraine at the time. The affect was almost instantaneous in relieving pain and eliminating the migraine itself. That was thirty years ago....and never lost the ability to do mathematics nor raise a family...with two PHD's accomplished by our children. I believe that people who NEED these meds for pain relief will not abuse them. It is up to the medical community to figure out who these people are and treat them accordingly, and with repect. All the best in your fight Montel.
Thank you Montel! In my teen years my sister and I made some brownies which my grandfather got hold of. Before throwing them away, knowing marijuana was in them, he ate one. He had been taking medicine for years because of heart problems and 3 heart attacks. The medicine gave him problems sleeping. His first comment when he woke the next morning for the first time after 5 am,"That was the best nights sleep I've had in years!" If its taken in moderation there are tremendous benefits from marijuana. I have never blacked out, had a hangover, or wrecked my car. Safer than alcohol!!
Your grandfather probably would've been better off smoking the marijuana, as this dilates the arteries and lowers blood pressure (the opposite of smoking tobacco). Brownies are dangerous for heart patients because they contain high amounts of fat. Hopes this suggestion helps anyone with cardiac problems!
I don't want to continue to see jails filled up with non violent petty drug offenders. On the other hand, I don't want to see people in jobs where their ability to perform is the differnce between life and death for others (taxi drivers, pilots, etc) doing recreational drugs.
Do you see people in these positions that have been drinking? If not, then why would you think they would be allowed to use pot on the job? I can't believe you think a PILOT would drink before flying! How absurd!
Oh.......wait a minute.....they HAVE been caught drinking on the job. Well thank God they were only drunk and not high! It could have been dangerous if they were high.
Employers will still not allow drug use on the job. It's not like there will be pot parties in the taxi dispatch areas. Nor will you see pilots lighting up in the cockpit.
However, you will still see people in a stupor at work from thier FDA approved pain killers.
No recreational drugs for these people, but if they have a few Bud(weisers) or some Jack Daniels after work that's ok? Rather see someone in these jobs smoke a little weed and wake up in the morning capable of doing their job safely, rather than being hungover from one too many drinks the night before.
I know of many people on State Aid and every one of them smoke pot. Some of them have medical marijuana cards. All of them sell pot. Many of them sell their Food Stamps for cash to buy more pot. Your tax dollars at work getting people high.
there is numerous drugs on the market to aid with multiple sclerosis, but the drug companies have alock on the pricing. the newest drug can cost an ms patient up to $43000.00 out of pocket for something that only keeps you at the level where you are at the day you begin the therapy. internationally canabis has been proven to be affective and affordable. the federal government need to open their eyes to a more natural holistic approach to treating this chronic illness.
I can't think of Montel Williams any more (particularly with regard to marijuana use) with out re-running the Mad TV Montel Williams Show skit featuring Jordan Peele and Nicole Parker where Montel keeps getting stoned. When he introduces and brings out the guest expert "Dr. Bongenstein" - a bong with little arms and facial features attached - too much!
On a more serious note...good on you Montel. Anything that can help folks ease their discomfort when dealing with serious illnesses such as cancer, etc. needs to be part of available therapies.
Drones with cameras are now being used on Americans to spy on them. It is a police state just like the gov't wants. The Dems aren't much hope when comes to legalization as Hillary wants to keep the war on drugs and cartels in mexico..legalization is the only cure unless Hillary wants to see more people die over a plant that Washington and Jefferson brought over from Europe. Amazing grow your own and screw the laws
Send those drones my way, sounds like good target practice,,but then I would be called a terrorist, and have my ass handed to me by my government, who sends drones to spy on me.
Legalize pot or make alcohol and tobacco illegal. Making pot legal would increase tax revenue and reduce use of other drugs since people would not have to go to the illegal sources that push meth, coke, etc also. This would hurt the cartels here and in Mexico, Central and South America.
I hold a MMJ doctor's recommendation in Calif..I'm 47, been smoking since I was 15..I go to dispensaries..EVERYONE who goes in is under 30..no ailments that I see..no need for "medical"MMJ.Call it what it is..people love to get high..that's it..stop with this "medical" crap..$400-500 per oz..nothing but a "money mill"
So you carded everyone who entered and reviewed their medical documents? So since you don't see any outward displays of illness, they are all faking?
If you see no need for it, why do you still go to the dispensaries? Why support a system you are against.
The word "everyone" you were sure to place in all caps causes your statement to lose all credibility. That and the fact you are still using the dispensaries that you state are just a money mill. You can't both support and be against something at the same time.
I hate that type of comment, "They don't look sick." I don't either, but can't eat proberly due to my stomach condition. I am at a high risk for malnutrition, but my body gose into starvation mode, holding on to every calorie that I take in. Because of that I am overweight, so I don't look sick. That led to over seven years of suffering before being diagnosed because noone belived I was unable to eat without pain or nausea. Not everyone who is ill looks sick. Not everyone who deals with chronic pain looks sick. Don't be such a judgmental jerk.
IT IS JUST CRIMINAL! LEGALIZE MARIJUANA! My husband, also 54, has MS, and suffers terribly in pain. His doctor gives him pain medicines that are not only ineffective and inappropriate for him, AND TOXIC as well as expensive. One pain pill he takes cuts his appetite! And his patch dirupts the absorption of nutrients in the intestines! ITS CRAZY! My husband is 5' 10" and weighs 125 pounds! To 'help' relieve his pain with these Drugs, they are KILLING HIM. And he only takes as few of his meds as possible, and deals with CONSTANT suffering and fatigue. Maintaining good nutrition can be a huge problem for MS sufferers, as with other medical conditions,; ie: Cancer, Chrones, etc. MARIJUANA IS an EXCELLENT alternative to these TOXIC chemicals. It alters pain preception, stimulates appetite, and gives him a sence of relief and well being. IT IS CRIMINAL that he is DENIED this very SAFE and needed substance. And if we tried to buy it through the only avenues available (street), and get caught, than WE ARE CRIMINALS! We could not afford to take a chance like that. I am just at a loss. Even as one writer said, that he'd like to use it for relaxation, where is the harm there? I think everyone is aware of how destructive alcohol consumption is, yet, it is legal and freely available. THERE IS SOMETHING REALLY WRONG WITH OUR SYSTEM! LEGALIZE IT ALREADY! At LEAST FOR MEDICAL USE!!
My girlfriend, who's been dealing with chemo and is preparing for surgery for her Stage IV breast cancer would whole-heartedly agree with you, and we are in the fight with you and your husband.
It has been legalized here in Michigan, but the DEA is still interfering and our laws are so jumbled, unclear, and just overall poorly written so we've encountered many problems.
Too many of the prescribed drugs made her feel worse than the cancer and chemo did to begin with, but the medical marijuana gives her an appetite, relieves her pain, calms her nerves, and helps her relax and sleep. It has been a literal life-saver.
I've worked with many doctors in my career over the years who have been crying out for the laws against marijuana to be erased. The reason for the continued illegalization of this medicinal substance is simple rampant, malignant propaganda - one of the worst cancers to plague mankind.
I challenge any naysayers to watch both the original and send-up, mocking versions of "Reefer Madness", and you'll see much more merit in the modern, musical version than you will in the original which was intended as an utterly serious ultimate warning of some kind to the evil ills of pot and the mayhem it would bring about, and now it's nothing but an archaic, embarrassing joke, just like the laws that keep this beneficial, NATURAL "drug" illegal.
Not exactly the best spokesperson, but I agree, legalize it. It's less dangerous than alcohol, and the government could finally make some money from it, instead of losing so much money on the failing "War on drugs". However, smoking it brings forth another problem: Lung cancer and COPD.
There have been some recent studies which have shown just the opposite. The smoke does contain some carcinogens but the effect was that usage was a deterent to many forms of cancer. We waste a lot of money fighting a was we can never wind. We have made criminals out of hard working, tax paying and responsible citizens who are closet users. Lot of green grease applied to Congress and state legislatures by the Pharmceutical companies, the law enforcement lobby, organized crime and other vested entities to keep it illegal.
You need to do some research. There has NEVER been a single case of ANYONE getting cancer or dying in any way from use of cannabis. It just doesn't happen.
Tobacco is a completely different plant from cannabis. Tobacco leeches heavy metals out of the soil, and holds them in the fibers of the plant. When the plant is burned, all kinds of toxic chemicals are released, and in fact, get more hazardous when they are burned. Tobacco is also a vaso-constrictor, which shrinks membranes and vessels that it comes in contact with.
Cannabis, on the other hand, is a vaso-dialator, it opens up passages it comes in contact with, which is why your eyes get red. MORE blood flows, so there is more possibility for healing. Blood flow is what causes healing. There are also tests and studies that the Spanish have done recently that show that cannabis is much closer to a CURE for cancer than an instigator of it, shrinking brain cancer tumors faster and more safely than any drug out there currently.
Even IF cannabis were implicated in cancer, so what? No one gets out of here alive, do they? We allow people to drink, which kills about 150,000 Americans a year, to smoke tobacco, which kills 450,000 of us a year, or to take prescription drugs, which by some accounts cost us 200,000 Americans per year, but we lock up people for smoking cannabis? Find ONE person on ANY list that shows someone, ANYWHERE who died from cannabis use. The feds don't have such a list, nor does ANY state, because NO ONE DIES FROM IT. The hypocrisy is astonishing.
Maybe if we all smoked a little pot from time totime and mellowed out a bit more, we'd stop killing each other. Face it, how badly can you hurt someone by throwing a Twinkie at his head?
I think that you are right on target and stated the case perfectly. Lets legalize marijuana and stop wasting time and money fighting something that is no worse than alcohol. Alcohol and marijuana should be treated with the same penalties under the law and have the rules governing use.
Absolutely. I'm 60 years old. I grew up in the Texas panhandle. I was at ANY parties in my younger years. I never saw a fight when people were smoking. Alcohol - well that's another matter!
Why in the hell does the government have a problem with legalizing it for medical purposes? What are they afraid of with MJ that obviously doesn't scare them with alcohol? Doesn't make sense at all.
Here is a story...newlywed couple having there first dinner, wife cooks a ham, before she puts it in the oven she cuts it in half and sets it in two seperate pans...new hubby asked why? Wife states, " Thats how mom does it" When hubby calls mom in law to ask why she says " thats how my mom did it" then hubby calls grandma and askes. " Well she says, when I first got married I did not have a pan big enough for a whole ham." Morral...just because its the way its always been done does not make it right. Thats were the Gov is with this one.

That's a big 10-4 Indigogal!
He needs to call Syllvia Brown and ask her if this will pass or not.
Everyone knows Montel like to fire one up, but I wonder if Dave Chappelle would back legalizin pot.
Nahhhh, that's a copout easily dismissed with the word "beer." We don't ban alcohol, seems like a strange double standard.
Well, you can find the link to this article in no less than three places on MSNBC's front page.
Not that there's an agenda here.......
Smart Move Monty!
What a bold statement!
Yo Montel....no's ware i's cud gets me sum gas... dem checkin neks up on da corn'er gots dat boo-boo wed....neds me sum fire yo
hmmm...
i'm going to go out on a limb and guess that this is a white person mocking mr. williams by using some silly stereotype. effing inbreeders!
while i agree he is not the best spokesman for this cause, i do agree with him. i wouldn't go so far as to say pot is better or safer than alcohol. but the gov't should not be making these decisions for us.
make love, not stupid posts people!
hodaka1974, even my 14-yr-old and her friends would find your humor infantile and ridiculously offensive. Do you also still walk up and pull a girl's hair to let her know you "like like" her? Moron.
Grow up, this is not the Romper Room board. Go hang on the NickKids site or something.
You two hypocrites... Ever here of Fat Albert??? hey-hey-hey.
Stop showing your insecurity by playing the low-rent race card........
Get your heads out of your balloon knots..
Moving on....next contestant please..... ego going up is it... miss spelling the word "offensive/cive" is the point...
Don't let that stop you from patting yo-self on the back for your accomplishment.
If you don't care if you offended me, then why post that I offended you??? Hypocrite.... look the word up already ...
This is me, still not being a hypocrite but obviously ruffling some poor little ignoramus's feathers and getting him's little panties in a wad.
so far you have called me a moron, jackwagon, and now cupcake & ignoramus..
And I'm the one trying to act like an adult??? Now it's cookies nappy-poo panties in a wad.......
must hurt like hell being at the intelligent level you are.
(Pointing and laughing at hodaka1974.)
I call 'em like I see 'em, and that's no demonstration of immaturity; it's demonstration of my lack of tolerance for bullsh*t.
I'm feeling fabulous and without any pain, thank you!!!
(Back to pointing and laughing.)
Do your panties need a little change now?
"who is the real fool, the jester, or the one laughing"
When pointing a finger at someone you always have 3 pointing back at you. And I'm sure you feel your far superior intellect is what keeps you coming back for more.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!
Just teach the cops to tell bad jokes; if the suspect laughs, then they are high. ;-)
I like most people i know would simply grow our own if it were legal,,i think it would end up in a sharing frenzy,,,,i would trade you an ounce of what i grew for an ounce of what you grew and so on and so on...lol
but i think you are right on with the incarceration part.
the problem i have whenever people start talking about legalizing pot is that most of the time they dont say pot,,they say drugs.
coke, meth, herion, crack, ice,,these drugs should be heavely inforced with extream penalities,,because they and others like them can simply destroy a country. when someone runs out of pot its no big deal but with the others i mentioned the addicted will simply rob and kill people to get more.
not to mention if everyone could legaly grow or buy their pot it would be one less thing to make the cartels rich, because noone would buy their pot...lol
just my 2
i disagree, you can grow your own tobacco legally, who does? the government windfall would come from the masses of lazy Americans (i'm not pointing fingers, i'm a happy one of you) who prefer to spend more for convenience than actually do any work, even for a superior product.
Ugh.....
As a fishing guide we have to take drug tests just like taxi drivers if you carry people on a boat ..Pilots I don't know I don't fly
Ron-398986 lies.
Ron, shut up as no one, most of all me, wants to read your made-up, crap-filled diatribes full of nothing!
Ron-398986 doesn't like pot smokers!
We're all pretty clear on that, so leave the poor, dead horse alone already!!!!!!!
Potheads unite!!
Potheads Untie!
that is NOT what it is about moron.
Unite and make some progress towards the goal.
there is numerous drugs on the market to aid with multiple sclerosis, but the drug companies have alock on the pricing. the newest drug can cost an ms patient up to $43000.00 out of pocket for something that only keeps you at the level where you are at the day you begin the therapy. internationally canabis has been proven to be affective and affordable. the federal government need to open their eyes to a more natural holistic approach to treating this chronic illness.
Agreed trout! All though the law here in Cali permits growing.
Send those drones my way, sounds like good target practice,,but then I would be called a terrorist, and have my ass handed to me by my government, who sends drones to spy on me.
The Tucson killer was a drug user. Marijuana is dangerous.
I think we should spend billions more to stop something we can no longer control.
People in pain should remain in pain after all we've been so wrong for so long our legislators will be proven to actually be as stupid as we thought.
Lets pass another law so that some of the most incompetant people in the country can run our lives to a greater extent.
Legalize it ! Good for medication AND recreation.
Alcohol - well that's another matter!
you ever get Twinkie cream in your eye?? i'm just sayin... :P
I bet you liked it!
