Perhaps they have it backward....Maybe mental illness causes abortions.

    Why on earth would they think it did? Some stress and anxiety, a whole lot of guilt. In the end, raising an unwanted child for 25 years is likely to lead to long term emotional and social problems - in both parent and child.

      Im sure the child would much prefer the abortion v. the long term stress conditions.
