"Mortality rate continues to drop." What an inflated statement The mortality rate should be far less considering the war on cancer is now 40 years old. Cancer is the biggest farce it can easily be corrected but due to the simple fact that the cancer industry generates 28 billion dollars a year and research is a multibillion dollar industry, the established quo is to keep pumping out propaganda concerning this farce, cancer. If anyone would like to challenge me on this topic please do.
I also think this is BS.. first of all they say the rate of cancer has "stabilized" it looks to me like more people are being diagnosed but if it's only going up a fraction of a percent every year... they are saying stabilized.. but it is in effect still increasing. Secondly, the way they track cancer deaths is skewed. I think this study is cr*p.
There is no reason to doubt in the validity of this study. The declining tendency appears a little weak, and I would have expected an up-tick considering the increased rate of obesity, poor diet, damaged ozone-shield related dangerous UV-levels AND an overall aging population. But apparently the fight against smoking is finally paying off!
My partner is completing chemo for lymphoma right now with great success. And years ago a routine check-up was able to catch a skin cancer on me in its earliest possibly detectable state... years ago nobody would have taken that 'dry spot' serious!
But there are hard-core, chain-smoking curmudgeons standing outside the cancer ward, sucking in their coveted smokes through their trachea holes!!! They grew up in the black and white era, when folks would lighten up anywhere and everywhere they wanted to. But they are literally a 'dying breed'.
