Gee, this information could be a "treasure trove" for the EPA.
Next, there will be regulations on charging a fee to anyone who breathes this "dirty air"and does it on purpose just to get sick. The EPA, with all their muddled wisdom, would probably extend the fee to include all living creatures.
Best place to start testing the air quality would be the Congressional halls, since that is where most of the "dirty air" is located. Shucks, the EPA would probably "waiver" our elected representatives from having to pay for the fee.
Corporate polluters want our regulation to resemble that of China's---as well as our air.
A good start would be to add enough tax to gasoline to cover the healthcare costs.

Yeah, Phoenix and Los Angeles area are the worst in the west -- though I've never been to Texas. In Phoenix they report on the daily news to not go outside today because the air pollution is soooooooooo bad. I spent a few days in Phoenix in recent years and it was gross... there is no blue sky there. And when you drive so into LA it looks disgusting because it is........ you'd think that LA being on the ocean would make the air quality better, but it just sits there like flem in the skyyyyyyyyyyyyy...............NO THANKS>>>>>>>>>

This article is obsurd. I know people that have lived in polluted air cities for 60 years and have great heart function. I'm sure it isn't healthy to breathe and could cause problems, but I would think fear and stress would be bigger heart attack triggers than polluted air. By the way, cities with dirty air are also heavily populated which would cause more stress(traffic jams) and fear (of crime) than small cleaner air environments. Maybe they didn't take that into consideration because you can't pass any kind of legislation against stress or fear.
