Interesting...it figures that I just ate two heads of raw broccoli this morning...still alive and not yet ill. Of course, I already had Lysteriosis a couple decades ago so I may be immune to future infection.

Got it in a microbiology lab from an improperly disposed of and infected, experimental medical device and was sick for weeks. I feel sorry for anyone who gets sick from that.

Food Safety is one of the most important issues facing our country today. It seems that no-one, not the FDA, not the USDA, not the companies, not the people that grow the food, not the importers of food from other countries, are addressing the issues involved but just going along and hoping that nothing will happen. This simply insures that something will happen eventually. We are seeing regular pop-ups of this problem.
