If that is all there is as a result of a GOVERNMENT shutdown, then there is no DOWN-SIDE to the shutdown.

The less gov the better. The one down side is that military personnel won't get deserved pay.

I DO NOT see the paychecks for CONGRESS with-held Why NOT, do they think THEY are special? The first money with-held SHOULD be Congress and how about cutting their pay. Their messes and porks are what is causing this mess.

I hate to agree with the other posters, as my positions are usually to the contrary, but from the content of this article, I don't see much of a downside to this "Shut Down," as described.
