Anyone taking bets to see how fast the tea-publicans get this program striped out of the budget?
I am upset because they are going to invest money into different treatment options for diabetes, asthma, arthritis and heart disease for minorities. Our bodies are the same, the skin color is the only thing that makes us different. As if the same medications they give whites won't work for any other minority.
How about some money dedicated to closing the longetivity gap of five years between men and women? If women lived five fewer years than men, a presidential committee and women-only national campaign would be erected immediately.

Women live longer than men! Lets fix that first.
Agreed. On average, US women live five years longer than men. Imagine the uproar if men lived longer.
this is BS!! lets work on our english speaking ppl 1st!! and make darn sure that these are "legal" spanish speaking neighbors! i am a single mom, disabled vet and i CANNOT even get health insurance for my son and i fought for THIS COUNTRY...AND FOR WHAT!!!

This is only between people who have insurance and those that don't. We lost our insurance for 2 years and no doctor would see us, it was the first thing they ask for...your insurance card (we are white btw). From this article, I would contend that people of color and immigrants have a better chance then white people on getting help.
