The truth is: people do not die from cancer, and cancer does not make them sick or cause pain. Drugs (toxins, poison) makes them sick, causes pain, and kills them. The same can be said for radiation (burning) and surgery (cut).
She was afraid the drugs would kill him but she made sure he would die. I can't tell from the limited article if she actually believes what she is saying, but either way her son is dead and she shares some of the culpability.
Hellooo R1092244 are you serious? Cancer doesn't kill or cause pain?! Ever had cancer? Cancer ABSOLUTELY kills and causes pain. I have been there and done that with a stage 4 cancer. Had a lot of pain before diagnosis and plenty more during treatment. This woman had care giver burn out. The brutality of the disease and treatment is not solely felt by the patient, but the family as a whole. That is why when I was doing my year long treatment multiple family members helped out. Despite all of the help, I stopped treatment early.
Would I have done what she did? Would I have made the decission she did? Probably not, but I do know what a care giver goes through. The constant worry and exhaustion played a major roll here. No one should ignor that fact. This is a sad story for this family no matter how you look at it!
This is sad, poor baby. But it sounds like taking such care of him just became too much for her. She should have looked into ways to get help w/caring for an ill child. Im sure the pills had their side efftects, but since it was under a doctors care, she should have gone w/it. OR if she did have concerns about the effects, ASK the doctor, not decide to stop on your own. Tragic loss. God rest his little soul.

This woman is selfish and illogical. It hurts me to try to understand what was going through her head when she decided to kill her son slowly.
