My husband just died of this horrible illness only 7 weeks after he was diagnosed. He was a very healthy fit 54 year old, who just started to have mild back pain. He also had colon cancer that was got early 10 years prior and successfully treated with surgery. I am afraid that this means there is a genetic cause somewhere. We have a daughter and I am terrified that she will get this someday. I would like to see some kind of early detection for this rotten disease.
