while I'm no fan of Obamacare, I do believe that learning as much as possible about the human body, genetics, personalized medicine, etc., and funding this research will be the ONLY thing that will eventually help lower health care costs. An educated population is a healthy population. Obamacare is not needed, more schools and more labs are!
In July I will celebrate my 13th anniversary as having a "morning heart attack" I had 100% blockage and had a stent. I have never felt better and excused my exhaustion to:
working full time, etc , 2 children, keeping house.....
so much for the myth that Daylight Savings Time leads to more (and deadlier) heart attacks. It seems that the time of day, rather than time of year, is the biggest factor in heart attacks.
This is a well known phenomenon categorized under chronobiology and chronotherapy. The growing fields of chronopharmaceutics and chronotherapeutics are being recognized and consumer products are currently being developed. Much work is now underway in order to understand the circadian rhythm and its impact on physiology and disease states.
With Obamacare you will have to get your general doctor to say it is ok to go to the hospital or they wont pay lol.
And another useless study that cost more money than it was worth. I am sure the hosptials already know this.
