'splain all those skinny people in the Alzheimer's unit with my MIL, and most of them seem to be on the tall side, too. The obese, chubby ones died off from heart disease years ago, they didn't live long enough to have Alzheimer's. I agree, I'm glad I'm not a twin!
did any of these individuals have low thyroid function? low thyroid is epidemic and is linked to gluten intolerance. get off the wheat products folks- our bodies are not designed to process as much of it as we are eating!
OR maybe the onset of the disease causes a decrease in activity, or depression that might lead one to overeat, but as mentioned above most of the Alzheimer's patients I have known have been quite thin...
Sounds like one should avoid being a twin as much as being overweight!
