Not surprised it closed due to financial hardship. After all, if porn stars cared about their bodies enough to go to a clinic, they probably would not be porn stars to begin with.
The porn industry is taking a finacial hit. This is why they are now buying up all these 800 numbers that have shut down to try and trick people into giving them their business.
Personally for me, if they rid of all the porn garbage in the stores and the net the world would be better off without all this smut.
There's a difference in having an adult go to a store and buy it, but to have kids on the internet and then pop-up of porn sites is not right. For me, our government needs to shut them all down from the net, but I suspect they spend more time surfing it just like the average purv in the home.

@ kreepy; Your kids should not have the desire to look at porn in their teen years,unless it is just a passing experience,ie they look at the friends fathers hustler,then thats it for awhile. Teens are usually excited enough with the sears cataologue,or some latenight showtime lol,or whichever one is showing the soft core porn,we have basic cable,which as when my kids were younger they did not have access to porn,they are older now,and have to make their decisions on what they will look at.
Im not saying teens have no sex drive,Im just saying it is not satisfied mostly with hardcore porn,if this was the case you as the parent are directly responsible of the content your kids have access to. The internet is easy access for kids to look at what they are not ready to see,there are safegaurds for this to keep your kids off these sites,it was really never an isssue in my house. My kids are into other things,not ignorant enough to think that one of them might be sex,but they are not looking at porn,at least not in my house. And if my son is he is 19 now,so what can you do. He has his own laptop,I do not allow them on my computer unsupervised,that is the best way to do it.

HIV/AIDS is a horrid disease that should not be visited upon anyone, and those who do get it need good support and good information, not to mention good meds. I never understood the state's demonizing the clinic. There's an important law called HIPAA who jealously guards patients' privacy. You want it, I want it, shouldn't they have it as well? The state can't come into a hospital and demand records. Just a good excuse to close down something they didn't like, IMHO.

Doesn't it take 2 to 6 weeks for HIV to show up in a test? Add to that, due to their high risk factors, it means that they have to wait longer for their test results. Given the demands of the industry, it's not practical for their actors to have to wait that long between shots (no pun intended).
The only solution would be for them to be required to wear condoms, they can use CG to make it look real.

Per my comment above concerning the length of time to properly test and determine if an actor is HIV positive, it is cost effective for their actors to wear protection with the added benefit of providing their workers protection in their dangerous & risky profession. It would be like telling construction workers not to wear helmets.
