At only 200 per year it's definitely not a booming business. I like it that they are embracing a live and let live or die kind of attitude.

I'm glad that there is a truly civilized country in the world.  It is high time that we give our elderly this option.  Quality of life is a personal assessment in which the government should play no part.

Tchr58....totally agree with you, this needs to be more wide spread and more open as an option, in all countries. Good job to the Zurich voters,now if it would only take hold here in the states.....we are so far behind in health care it is not even funny. Of course we do have the FDA...or great, all they do is screw things up for Us. They need to have their legs kicked out from under them, they have as much power as the Mobs have. Over in Europe their health care is far Superior, they do operations and patient care that is so far above ours that makes Us looks like we are working in the Dark Ages.

And Scottnrg....yes it is, but then how many have the funds to move there to take advantage of a very needed option.....

I have been in the health care system here in the states now for 23+ years, and we are amoung the worst off of most countries, And for sure the very worst off for what resourses we have or can get our hands on......really sad we are suppose to be this great country, and yet can not take care of our own

Sure is a damned shame that we "can't take care of our own"...Wouldn't it be great if we could help all of" our own" fellow American's off themselves and save all those health care dollars for those who want to live?
