Congratulations to him. I have type 2 diabetes and love hearing an optimistic story about what a person can do when they put their mind to it. His story is inspirational to many living with chronic illnesses.

That's a rare thing. It's amazing how doing the simple things like simply eating well makes such a difference with diabetes.

Congrats to the author, Shaya. I have 2 nephews with Type 1 diabetes. It was heart warming to read such an up lifting article for a change.
