THE FIRST THING I would look to is if there was a recent SPIKE in ADD/ADHD or depression diagnosis and accompanying prescriptions for psychotropic, ssri, or other "anti-depressant/anxiety" medications in the student population.
These drugs are KNOWN to cause suicide and carry black box warnings for such AS WELL AS NOT BEING LABELED FOR THESE AGE GROUPS.
I think it's time the 'people' get serious about sueing the FDA for approving all the crap, and sueing the pharmaceutical companies and demanding that all their medications that cause all those dangerous side-effects be banned immediately. . . Of course they will probably go out of business since almost everything they put out for people to ingest come with serious warning labels! . . . One might actually think they were trying to make people sicker - rather than better. Enough is enough. . .
This article doesn't say why the child was suspended before the restling match (which caused his deep depresion), so how can we discuss this issue? Nor did the article give us even a clue as to why all the other kids also tried suicide. . . Is it teacher / school board incompetence, child willfullness, child medication gone wrong? Or any of the above?
shirking parental responsibility off to the feds and drug companies is absurd and boomer in its conception. boomers are always blaming anyone or anything else for their egregious shortcomings, i.e. lacking sufficient gray matter to successfully raise offspring they have forced into existence...look within yourselves--WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO YOUR CHILDREN THAT IS DRIVING THEM TO THEIR GRAVES?!!
