Today the majority of men who contractp prostate cancer are doing just fine after 20 years. I know, my PSA jumped from 2-13 in a year. That was 10 years ago.
I am scheduled for my prostate biopsy two days from now. My PSA tests have fluctuated over the past year and a half from slightly high to moderately high and then back to slightly high. The most recent was the highest yet, thus the biopsy. However regardless of the outcome I am opposed to a surgical solution or even radiation and/or chemo.
These procedures simply create a life style that I cannot come to terms with. Incontinence and loss of my sex life are just not acceptable to me. Instead I will pursue a non damaging herbal solution and just take my chances. Meanwhile I will continue to live my remaining life to the best that I can. For me it is totally a matter of quality over quantity. I cannot imagine being a shrivled up dottering old man with decreasing muscle mass and no energy what so ever who is just sitting around occupying space, consuming food, and using up oxygen, and waiting to die.
I believe in karma and if I am meant to contract this malady then there is not much point in struggling with it when even the researchers themselves say that there is no real evidence that these procedures actually extend ones life. Plus, in light of what I have read and heard from the science community outside of our country, there is ample evidence to expect a complete cure or at the very least a very substantial period of remission from a very simple herbal treatment. I am inclined to be the master of my own destiny and chose how I live my life.
