One of the first things the Obama Administration passed was - Removing the travel restrictions into the USA for people with HIV/AIDS.
While I could care less about being exposed to HIV. Because you usually have to engage in risky behavior to contract HIV. It is the TB that the HIV carrier usually dies from, that is what the average person should worry about...
In that case, we should insist on testing all entering travelers for TB. Not all (or even many) AIDS patients have TB, and many people without AIDS do have TB.
You also fail to make a distinction between HIV infection and full-blown AIDS.
What I find scary is that with all the international travel, legitimate and otherwise (especially the otherwise) we're being exposed to things that are 3rd world, had been all but or completely erradicated here, and now some new bug in Thailand, Kenya, Mexico, South America or where ever else will have the opportunity to create havoc here.
It's not to say we should isolate ourselves, but only to be cautious and follow all safety procedures. Most will be up to us, as other countries don't all have the most stringent of health safety protocols.
There should not be anyone entering the U.S. that has not been vaccinated. And for those in this country that do not get vaccinated.... You also should not be allowed to travel. Please stay in your own town so your are not exposed to anything... Measles is nothing to mess around with. Not only can it be dealy but it can also cause deafness. And when pregnant women are exposed, if the baby lives there can be terrible effects. All people entering or leaving the U.S. should have all the required vaccinations... Period!
Funny how the person they are highlighting could have picked up the virus from someone vaccinated.
If you are vaccinated stop fearing those that are not. Quit being paranoid unless the vaccined people are not protected and they fear the vaccines are worthless.
Yes, cleanliness has done marvels to naturally quell the vaccine dogma. A clean "environment" does more for natural health then the pseudo science industry.
I have been woundering this for a while, if you have a child who is too young to get vacinated and then they get into contact with an unvacintated kid/person, and the child gets the disease and dies, can the parents sue the unvacinated person?
No, you never asked if the person who was not vaccinated had anything?
Plus you can get sick from vaccines or someone who was vaccinated, how would you know your child did not contract the illness from someone vaccinated?
The viruses are more common in the vaccines now then they are in nature. You are more likely to be infected by someone who was vaccinated because you already are parnoid of those who are not vaccinated, so your circle of friends would most likely have been vaccinated. Blame the vaccinated.
I was actually thinking back to an article a while ago that I had read where a teenager was not vacinated for some disease and came down and had that disease and a child who was not old enough to get vacinated for that disease came into contact with the teen and got his disease. the child ended up in the hospital and died. the virus/disease the child had was traced back to that teen. The teen and the child both had the same strand of virus.
so it is in this kind of senario could the parents sue the teen, because (I believe) he technically was the cause of the child's death.
If the baby contracted the virus by via the teen then the teen came in contact from someone else. Just because a person was not vaccinated, they do not spontaneously contract or grow the virus spreading it to others.
If the teen purposely infected the baby then that could be compared to a junkie with aides sharing a needle infecting others or if a person thew their hiv blood on someone with the intent of infecting, they can be sued/arrested.
The teen is not responsible especially if the baby was around family or friends of family who were vaccinated or even if they contracted it naturally. Just as the industry denies any causation between vaccines and injury by saying the person had an underlying illness or coming in contact with something that just triggered the occurrence, can be used in this case too.
People get infected by vaccines or suffers side effects all the time, that is why there is a vaccine compensation act. The vaccine version of infection can be more serious then the natural, because of all the toxic ingredients and animal/human cells and other viruses used in the manufacture of vaccines.
Well you just answered my most basic question. You can not sue the person. I believe the teen had went to Mexico to visit family and got the virus there and returned home (US).
It is time the we return to the pre-vaccine days of the 19th century, when parents typically had 10 children but only 1 or 2 survived beyond their fifth birthday . . .
This leads to a healthy and robust population where there are few weak and sickly people, especially younger children . . .
It also is great for keeping the overall population at an economically viable level, and it creates plenty of jobs for morticians, casket makers, and florists . . .
When I was a child, there were no vaccines for measles, mumps, and a lot of other bacterial and viral diseases, so I just "manned up" and dealt with it . . .
The perspective here in the sound isolation studio is that if folks in England who think that being vaccinated against measles somehow imposes on their right to be British decide to visit our great nation and to infect our fellow countrymen, countrywomen, and children who also are enjoying their right to be idiots, then great . . .
Great!
In the grand scheme of everything, it is an excellent way to reduce the overall number of liberals and other folks who devote all their attention to promoting medical quackery . . .
So, from me to you, thanks for not getting vaccinated against common childhood diseases and for telling all your pinko commie friends not to get vaccinated, either!
It's your opportunity to experience your own personal "Darwin Moment", and there always is the possibility that you might get lucky and survive, for sure . . .
Oh no! Not measles..a common childhood illness meant to be had while children are young and usually passes uneventfully without complications! (total sarcasm) and for all you hypochondriacs who will say .."oh no there can be serious complications..encephalitis..death..ect" yeh there CAN be serious complications from most illnesses..but usually there isn't ...all the vaccine enthusiast EVER talk about are the extremely rare complications, never focusing on the FACTS that most of these childhood illnesses are nothing more than a small inconvenience and that if a child acquires the diseases and gains natual immunity they are far more protected throughout life than they are with vaccines that require lifelong boosters.
I can't even imagine what kind of loser one would have to be to want to sue someone for being sick..or what kind of country this would have to be for the goverment to make the call on what my kids and I are required to inject into our bodies. Almost all of these exposure cases happen during travel..and i find it laughable when people start freaking out about others exposing their newborns or sick kids to diseases. they are the ones who made the choice to travel with those in their care that are more vulnerable and then rely on other people to take responsibility when they take none themselves.
If you or your child gets sick from some freak exposure and you have taken all the precautions that's just bad luck and there isn't anything we can do about it... most likely with rest and fluids and some tlc you'll be fine in no time. On the other hand...
If you are like most adults and don't get your titer levels checked yearly to assure your immunity status, don't stay current on booster shots, take unecessary risks like using mass transportation for traveling withsmall infants or sick kids, and moms with immunity who refuse to breastfeed their babies for at least a year ( which protects them until they can be vaccinated) please shut up! I don't expect anyone else to take responsibility for my families health and if my kid gets sick..so what..we deal with it and move on...you should too.
Btw my 3 year old caught the chickenpox (gasp) from her two vaccinated friends at gymnastics class after their doc failed to tell them it was a live vaccine and that while unlikely, they could still spread the disease to others...do I get to sue their family and the doctor? Oh wait nevermind i'm not a total loser who would ever think of doing such a thing. And I'm pretty sure the comment about unvacvinated people not being allowed to travel is the dumbest thing I have ever heard...paranoid much? Some people need to get a grip!

To obtain a Visa in most countries, you are screened for many diseases, HIV/AIDS, TB, & others are still refused entry...
Gotta love all of the nutso people that refuse to vaccinate, that are now bringing back diseases we had essentially eradicated in this country.

Third world???
The drug resistant TB came from the EU...
The measles and smallpox outbreaks have come from the EU...
These are still the leading killers in the World...
Must be a low news day. when I was a kid all sorts of people caught the measles.
And people died. According to this msnbc article (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42913293/ns/health-infectious_diseases/t/us-track-most-measles-cases-decade/?ns=health-infectious_diseases&t=us-track-most-measles-cases-decade), in the days before a measles vaccine, 450-500 Americans died from measle each year. Now, with a 90%+ immunization rate, there have been no deaths from measles in the US since 2003.
There should not be anyone entering the U.S. that has not been vaccinated. And for those in this country that do not get vaccinated.... You also should not be allowed to travel. No vaccine is effective in 100% of individuals. If you want to wipe out a disease, you have to use every tool in your arsenal, not just vaccines.
Yes, cleanliness has done marvels to naturally quell the vaccine dogma. A clean "environment" does more for natural health then the pseudo science industry.

I'm just waiting for the first new case of smallpox, which is almost inevitable. It's not a question of if, but rather of when,
Yeah, the next case of lab strain release. I can see it now the sheeple will run to get the vaccine pushed for it.
