Why do supposedly intelligent people HAVE to waste time and money informing anyone of such simple truths? Anyone KNOWS that hunger can be triggered by emotions....and who isn't emotional NOW?

Why not spend the time and the money figuring out why some people HAVE to be more self-centered and destructive towards other human beings, since once again the facts are seen so easily. Hate begets hate and no one wins. Greed is a strong motivator and few people "win"?

Work on the solutions to the problems that we feel as we read, see and hear bad news all day long, 365 days per year....then, as positive changes occur, people will actually do so much better in all ways.

I agree that during difficult economic times stress can
increase the body’s desire for more calories. Unfortunately, this is a double
edge sword. These high calorie foods are also very inexpensive. Have you
noticed how many fast food places are offering two for one double
cheeseburgers? When is the last time you saw two for one offers on fresh salmon
fillets?

Any time that ANY one is selling a bargain,,,,,,,,,,,,the fact is that the product is not of the same value or grade. Price of generic store icecream has increased by nearly $2.00. The size of the carton did not shrink as with some products...but, the flavor taste has deteriorated. Price increase, lower value, good profit for the seller.

Each distributor offers different price columns for the vendor. As with grocery stores, restaurants, kitchens, etc. all change the menu to appear to offer the same menu, but not the same quality.

Chemical companies have VERY high profit margins in those blends of cleaning products. The trick to surviving the prices is to water down the product. Dept. stores can have the canisters adjusted for measuring drops of lotion soap for the shopper. Without their being aware, the distributor can also adjust the dispenser, so that more drops are used, hence a profit increase.

With price increases on the chemicals, the buyers change products to a cheaper blend. Which does not necessarily work any better or is any safer for the user.

Cuts of meat are being imported from Australia and So. America. :Produce is coming in from So. America, Central America and Australia. Now, Americans have to purchase what is available without knowing how much inspection was ever done on the growing fields.

Prices increase, quality down and the consumer loses in many ways. Just close your eyes and take the sugar on the spoon, before pouring the salt directly into the mouth, while washing down with a soda standing around a smoker.....and pretty soon, one will not have to worry much longer!!!!!
