What I don't get is the line about "the people who sell this product have made it appear safer" because if you're buying dope in a parking lot, then I don't think drug safety is exactly your highest priority. It's not like the local drug pusher is wearing a white lab coat.
I don't think the deliveries are a very good idea either, because that means a telephone call is involved, and telephone calls are records which can be subpoenaed.
For example, I can go online and tell you which phone number called my cell phone, the time of day, the length of the call and how much (if anything) the call cost.
Assuming that drug dealers get caught (they do), and you've called that drug dealer for a delivery, then your phone number is on his records, and the cops have a warrant for such records. Which means the cops know you have a propensity to call dope dealers, which is a bad thing.
You've got cops running around the streets with Cellebrite mobile data grabbers now. Think I'm kidding?
If a cop arrests a dope dealer, then he's taking the dope dealer's cell phone and he's walking right back to the squad car and plugging it into the Cellebrite UFED.
It's not safer to buy drugs. In fact, it's never been more dangerous. The cops catch the dealer, and have the cell phone numbers of all the buyers. Every cell phone made since 2005 has a GPS built in, which means the cops can pretty well track your ass down at their leisure.
I love the War on Drugs. The technology deployed against the bad guys is so much fun.
Just telling you what a government report said. It said that door to door sales are very safe for the salesman. Through codes they can weed out the narks, and it allows illegal aliens to do the deliveries, which is much cheeper than street sales. The pusher just gets himself a lawn mower or a van with ladders on it as cover. The cops won't mess with illegal workmen. Door to door there is no haggling and the whole thing happens inĀ fiveĀ seconds around back. These guys have a route and they don't carry cell phones. Delivery boys can make a hundred grand in a year. So if Obama wins in Arizona then the drug cartels do also.
Stupid druggies.
I don't know if they're really druggies... word is, the Tennessee authorities are just stupid without drugs.
Or maybe this fluff piece was generated by the corporate press somehow. Maybe they just put these things out to measure reactions.
Certainly this is not news.

I was supprised to read that Tennessee is a high crime state.
