Have to excuse my question here but....... Does Eamonn Vize, read, speak, and understand the English language. That seemed to be one of the big issues leading up to the problems where the wipes were made. Call me biased/racist based on questioning this gentleman's credentials based on a name but lets be real here. The FDA managed to figure out that the inability of QA to read speak and understand printed guidelines led up to the recall.
If this company is STILL recalling products why are we even considering allowing them to start up production again before they get a 100% clean bill of inspection?
I wouldn't buy rat poison from this firm, much less health products.
They have demonstrated a lack of standards, much less adherence to such. Their approach to sterilization could best be described as "hopeful" not "scientific." Previous FDA findings included water sources hooked directly to sewers, without backflow prevention; employees touching products with bare hands; and worn, badly maintained machinery. Children's cold medicine was produced without an active ingredient.
The bottom line: this company, as a result of their negligent manufacturing process, produced contaminated products alleged to have resulted in death and illness. They don't deserve another chance while they are still owned by this irresponsible band of siblings. It's not a family business, it's a family disgrace.
Two campaign and no bar codes. If after all of these they don't embrace this technology, shame on them. I do have some of the top folks at the FDA now looking at my 2 year old campaign to put bar codes on the products and allow all to scan to check for recalls, was quoted in the Milwaukee Journal paper too.
I work in Healthcare and will never again use Triad products and will always be aware of what name they are using to be sure to avoid them. They're done.
This is disgusting. The last week of August, our poorly funded little rural hospital provided us with IV start kits. Wow! I grabbed one, and as I prepared to start an IV on a patient, I noticed that the alcohol wipe included had the TRIAD brand on it. I complained loudly to management. The following shift I found the IV start kits had been removed.
I never even thought to notice who had produced the IV start kits...
Both H&P Industries and the Triad brand are done, as far as I am concerned. I will always be aware of the brand on the item. I will never, ever, use their products.

The FDA, Food and Death Administration must have got a large pay-off.

They replaced the COO everything is OK now.....
Boycott.
The long term tragedy is there will be members of the healthcare industry that will still buy their poorly QC'd products - if the price is right.
