Our government is mess up because we are just plain stupid re-electing people to office who doesn't care about the citizens of this country period. I do not feel the American citizens will ever wake up and vote for the right people so they will watch their country go down with the help of their own president who is trying to give amnesty to illegals and jobs, telling them to go march in our street demanding amnesty. Now us citizens can't do that without being arrested.
Maybe the ATF thinks that smoking marijuana and owning a firearm will inspire Cherokee spirits to come into the users body where the marijuana user will then want to scalp and kill white english women.
What about drunks? Why doesn't the ATF impose laws against drunks? By alcohol is legal and creates a much more dangerous front that smoking marijuana.
Racism is the reason. Drunks come from Europe and should be allowed to own firearms regardless of their state of mind over their Native American Indian counterpart who should not be allowed to own a firearm and smoke marijuana because it is not associated with being a "White European"
I don't see what race has to do with this...Please explain. It is a medical issue, not a race issue. It is not unlawful in the state that you have your card in, but it is still against the fed. law. Seems to me that it is also a legal issue--between the feds and the states. They need to decide if they are going to make federal arrests of MM users or not. Now they have opened a back door to arrest MM users for firearms charges. Very upsetting.
So, it appears that the Justice Dept. has nothing better to do than go after medical marijuana users? They are not going to make the arrest for illegal possession of MJ, they are going to make the arrest for possessing a firearm and ammunition, which means serious prison time. That is really scary. I owned firearms long before I became ill and got a MM card. I had never even used it until a doctor recommended that I try it to get off opiates. I'm off opiates and haven't even used the MJ for a long time, but I keep it in case I am injured and will use it instead of pain pills. Now, that option is gone. Wow....I sure don't want a weapons charge against me at 60 years old. This is just wrong. The feds and the state need to get on the same page. Suggestions anyone?
“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”
“The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.”
“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government”
“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”
“That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.”
“I have no fear that the result of our experiment will be that men may be trusted to govern themselves without a master.”
“Experience hath shown, that even under the best forms (of government) those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny”
Thomas Jefferson
“The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”
so its ok to take away the second amendment rights of citizens and give guns to the cartels. This country is really messed up.

How do you establish that someone is a marijuana user?
Ethnicity. Next question.

What about people that drink? The more we try to go forward, the more they push us back.
