It just seems that since the anti illegal alien drums started playing louder, the occurrence of food born illnesses (specifically fruit & veggi) in the US has increased. I am just curious if there is any correlation (cause/effect).
Something or somebody contaminated the crop. Things like this happen everyday in our hospitals, restaurants, institutional living arrangements, cruise ships and in foreign countries where the environment breeds bacteria. Entire civilizations have been wiped out over the centuries. Its just another worldly event. Get used to it as there are more on the way.
A few days ago I read (on msnbc no less) that there is a neighboring farm that is using a biosolid (a fancy name for human waste) fertilizer. Maybe they should check the soils on this farm and all the farms around it...
And beyond that we probably should STOP using human waste to fertilize our FOOD crops. :P
There is a whole raft of things wrong with our food supply.
Why ship our S. Texas oranges, melons, etc across the county just so we can get the same thing from Florida, California and else where. Can you say trucking lobbyists.
MONSANTO - the biggest evil to plague the people. GMO why? Glyphosate [round up] is in the human blood from the RoundUp Ready seeds that RU will not kill.
many more .....................
Also why is mercury very highly regulated [no more thermometers] but is fine to give our most vulnerable, children, 17 doses in the first year.
Can you say pharmaceutical lobbyists and a corrupt FDA.
I am just curious, how many people wash fruits, melons, and other produce with skins that you don't eat? I am guilty, I do not bother. I just wonder if a lot of this outbreak could have been prevented if the customers would wash this stuff before they cut into it? With what I have read in some articles that I could find that were free, washing is an effective way to get rid of some of this stuff. If the farmer fertilized with manure, that is the likely culprit.
I'm curious as to whether they hire American citizens to pick their crops.
Why is that even relevant at this stage, Sane Central?

Pizz off the workers, and they pizz on your food?
