Horrible reporting, MSNBC. I wanted to know how many CFU they tested in the studies, but can't because there is no link to the studies, and no mention of authors, or any way to find the studies mentioned.
Number of CFU makes a HUGE difference in probiotics. I would expect probiotics to make NO difference in children's health, if under 50 billion per day. I give my kids 450 billion CFU per day (VSL#3).
At the right high, high levels, much more than found in any yogurt, probiotics can be MIRACULOUS to childrens' health, both physical, and mental.

Especially if they've gone through a round of anti-biotics recently and need to have good bacteria re-established in their system.
Does any body on the vine know if there has been a study of probiotics affecting HPV?
