California needs to look to Colorado on this one...The people of Colorado wrote that marijuana be recognized as legitimate medical treatment. Those registered receive status as patients, and are provided certain patient rights...The sad thing is the miasma of spun mis-information, and money tended for it's propaganda is to punish mainly clinically sick, and or terminal patients...The People of Colorado recognized it needed to be a protected provision in health care, and such wrote it as Amendment 20. For any changes to happen MUST be by voter approval...After all Washington deferred itself for the states to control MMJ (Medical Marijuana) and to decide either to ballot or pass on initiatives...Lastly what is being generated in state revenue is insane, during a failing economy in a yrs time 1 colorado city generated 1 Million in taxes in UNDER a year...It's saving lives, generating jobs, and bailing out ALOT of states from one heck of a budgetary shortfall....
