I wonder what Norwood's disposition was like BEFORE her yoga classes.

Even if she didn't plan the murder, it certainly sounds as though she thought this thing through. She staged a scene and lied for over a week. In my opinion, that's just as bad as planning it to begin with.

But he told jurors that the killing lacked the premeditation to convict Norwood of first-degree murder, which could carry a sentence of life in prison without parole.

This is a local case, so I've been following it on the news here.

She was caught stealing by the co-worker and reported to the store owner. After they were off for the night and the store was closed (co-worker had the keys to lock up), Norwood called her, saying she'd left her wallet at the store and needed to get back in to get it. Then beat her to death -- there were 107 defensive wounds on the body and a trail of blood where she was trying to crawl away.

Then, Norwood staged the scene, injuring herself, called the police and said that she and her co-worker had been assaulted and raped by 'two masked men.'

She clearly planned the whole thing and they're now trying to claim, 'it just happened.'

It shouldn't take long to convict her and hopefully put her away for the rest of her unnatural life.

Limber ladies can kill too. And so can 'hippies', who are human and sometimes quite sleazy without owning their dark sides. Like any group, some are fine but I often cant trust the so called 'enlightened'. At least I know I am a part time jerk.
