I would be happy to sell one of my kidneys for $100K. I do not understand why this is illegal. It is American capitalism at its best, right? Seriously... there are not enough kidneys to go around for free -- if the greed helps people get better I think its okay. Allowing this type of sale would lighten the load on the waiting list and probably save lots of lives. Why else would someone give up a kidney... out of the goodness of their heart? I think not; assuming family or a close friend is not a match.
