It will also be interesting to see if the clinics and hospitals finances are effected either way by this also.
The federal government is using taxpayer money to fund illegal immigration. We can thank Reagan for requiring emergency care for anyone in the nation, but the federal government took it a step further and provides funding for a portion of all healthcare for the illegal aliens. The state taxpayers and hospitals are required to pay for what our federal taxes don't cover.
How about all of the US citizens who cannot afford to get routine medical care? Aren't there "complications" from that, also?
Mexico (where the majority of illegal aliens come from) has universal healthcare for all of its citizens. So if the citizens of Mexico need medical care all they have to do is return home.
I did not know Mexico had univeral healthcare. That brings to mind how Obama is trying to push that here in the U.S.
During that same time period, unauthorized immigrants paid in over $24 BILLION in Social Security taxes even though they will never receive a penny in benefits. So for every dollar in medical services received, they paid in 32 dollars in excess social security taxes.
According to a Rand Coproration study, unauthorized immigrants are the healthiest segment of American society, the LEAST likely to receive emergency room medical treatment, and the MOST likely to actually PAY for the medical treatment they do receive.
The LEAST likely segment to pay for medical services was US citizens without health isurance.

There is a simple solution for illegals who are afraid of being denied health care. GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY!!!!

I thought they were all suppose to have left in the first place! All this article is stating is that, it confirms illegal aliens spread diseases, and use taxpayer funded health services.
The only "public health worry" I have is that should I or one of my family ever need to go to the emrgency room - there will be a crowd of illegal aliens there before me waiting in line for free medical care!
LosAngles County alone spends over 1 billion a year for illegals. Many ER's in Los Angeles had to close due to all the non-payment of services from Illegals.
Mexico has a tiered health care system. One for public employees, one for poor, one for employed whose employer also pays a small amount for it and one for the rich. Most private hospital have 20 beds or less. Public hospital for the most dont have labs, radiology etc in them.
The US too could have a system like Mexico too, if we did not have welfare, social security and many other services people of Mexico do not get. Like a typical Lib article, you dont get the full picture.
If you're affraid of being arrested and deported....stay in your own F'in country!
