This Buck Bill needs to be passed in EVERY state!!Does anyone know if it is Illegal in the state of Colorado to sell shelter dogs to research labs?? And are there ANY research labs in Colorado that still uses dogs?

I agree they need to pass this law. Many times these people will just go into people's yards and steal their pets and sell them to a lab. That's why I don't ever leave my pets outside for very long. I wish we could eliminate all animal testing.

I had a dog stolen by one of these Dr. Mengeles. I hope there's an appropriate place in hell for the ones who do this.

A ban isn't sufficient. These labs just get their animals through the back door. A better solution is when they're caught experimenting on animals haul the owners of the lab to a specially built "out side" kennel, throw them in and for the next year feed them on a no salt diet of beans, rice, and tap water for a year. Then take careful notes about the amount of weight their dropping, blood work, etc. Let's learn all about the effects of a no fat diet on the human body. It'll be a good laboratory experiment!
