I'm so thankful that this young man has such a fantastic outlook on life and his future abilities. It's extremely difficult to go though an accident like he did but still keep his spirits up and move forward when all seems lost.
Thankfully he has great doctors and the help of a whole community. It takes more than just doctors to do what he has done.
Always believe in yourself no matter what the doctors tell you. I was told I would never walk again after being crushed by a loader on a bobcat skidster back in 2004 and I proved to the doctors that they didn't know as much as they thought they did, I can now walk but cannot run, oh well I'll take it.
I hope this young man has a great and wonderful life and if he can keep sharing what he learned from all of this then others will benefit as well.
I have arachnoiditis also. I've lived with it most of my life. The pain never goes away. The worst thing you can do is to fall. Please be careful & may you have a good life. I have but it wasn't what I had planed to do.
How do people find this inspiring or anything other than a waste of space? So this guy got injured very bad and is handling it. If they wrote a news story everytime someone did it there'd be no room for important news.
It sucks for this guy, I'm sure. But he's not Jesus.
Define "Important News". There are plenty of topics to write about and one being inspirational such as this one might actually do just that...inspire some readers. If someone reads this who is recently injured in a similar way and is feeling down about the whole situation, then gets inspired to follow this guys footsteps, who are you to say that this isn't news worthy? You obviously have never dealt with such a traumatic event where you injured yourself this bad and needed inspiration and motivation. And WTF is the comparing him to Jesus have to do with anything?
Good for him.I hope he won't get back on one. They are trauma producing machines.
.
Sorry, but the best thing I ever did was get back on a bike after an injury as serious as his. The article even says he is now riding again.
