Great people want to follow the churches rules! great...Now get the church out of state! Please just stop the nonsense! There is absolutely no reason for this debate, women should not be penalized because the church thinks one way & common sense & science in fact our lives & the way we live is another...These men & some women in office have been on a tangent to remove our rights, now the church? In fact if they had issues why are they offering BC on campuses across the usa? This is a manufactured and false debate to again avoid the issues of the day! People are not this stupid..This is not an attack on the church it is not an attack on religion! Anyone think the rise of this issue by the bishops was done so Rick Santorum could have a platform? Silly & stupid is what this is and a damn shame on top of it.
The catholic church would not be paying for birth control-they would be paying for their employees' health insurance. What their employees choose to do with their health insurance is between them and their doctor!
Can the catholic church also say that it will not provide viagra unless a male staff member is married?
Can the catholic church also say that their staff can not purchase condoms with their financial compensation-as they are saying what they can purchase with their medical benefits compensation.
The catholic church was against the war in Iraq. Did they get to take part of their payroll taxes out as to not support the war they did not support?
The catholic church does not support the death penalty. Do they get to pay less taxes so as to not support that?
Health insurance is a part of an employee's compensation. What right does any employer have to say what an employee can use their compensation for? It is their compensation.
If the law says that a health insurance company must offer it-an employer should not have the right to say "no."
What next? They don't want to pay for pap smears which are legally mandated that health insurance pay for as the leading cause of cervical cancer is HPV-a sexually transmitted disease which their employees should not have the opportunity to catch?
They do not want to pay for any STD tests?
Where does the employers intrusion into the private medical decisions of their employees end?
Jehovia's Witnesses are against blood transfusions. Should the publishers of the watchtower get to exlude blood transfusions from their health insurance plans?
These Democrats are playing in to the Republicans hands, once again. Remember the whole Acorn set up. As usual it's mostly Men, talking about Women's health issue's! Stand by your President! I was under the impression that in 28 states, Catholic institutions already had BC in their insurance coverage!

Mormons aren't supposed to smoke. Can they exclude treatment for emphysema as part of the teachers at BYU's health benefits?
Should all churches opposed to unmarital sex get to deny treatment of STD's for unmarried staff?
Anything can divide Democrats. That's nothing new.
